Purchasing, Refund and Cancellation Policies for Classes and Workshops

Purchasing

To pay for a seat in a workshop or class fill out the information in the registration section.  You will be sent a PayPal invoice.  Your are not registered until the PayPal invoice is paid in full.

I can’t attend and want a refund.

I understand that things happen in life that may require you to cancel your registration.  Please let me know through our  contact form. The amount of your refund depends on how much notice you give.

  • At least 30 days before the start of the event: 100% refund credited to the card used to make the registration less a $45 administration fee.
  • Less than 30 but at least 14 days: 75% refund
  • Less than 14 days but at least 7 days: 50% refund
  • One week before the start date: Sorry, no refund

I want to attend the same workshop on a different date.

No problem. If you notify me at least 7 days in advance and there is another workshop scheduled and there is space available I will move you there.  If not I will refund your money using the polices described above.

I want a colleague to attend the workshop in my place.

Please let me know through my contact form.  Please give me both your name and the name and email address of your replacement.

I registered but didn’t attend. 

Sorry, no refunds are available if you didn’t cancel in advance.

Other cancellations and schedule changes

It’s unlikely to happen, but I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment, presenter illness, or other circumstances. If the event is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. If the event is rescheduled, participants will have the option of attending the rescheduled event or receiving a full refund.

If I cancel or reschedule a workshop or other event, I won’t refund your travel, lodging, or meal expenses. I suggest you make refundable travel arrangements.
